Is your body like your home, or vice versa?

Jeannie!  Every morning around 2ish I get up before sitting practice as stand in the middle of my room, smiling, utterly relaxed.  No body is there, nobody will disturb me…..and I wait till I feel centered.

Then…I turn on a certain music that I know enters me, moves me..then again just stand waiting until I can 'feel' the energy start pulsating inside of me, the energy starts moving around me, like a fragrance it surrounds me.  I do nothing…just stand there…waiting on something to happen. For four years I have done this religiously.  Then in time, in minutes suddenly my body will move, and I just cooperate..no pushing..and in time, it is like something has possessed you, a great energy from above descends down on you, surrounds you..penetrating the body, and the body starts making movements..your hands might raise, you body shakes, your moves might be small gestures or suddenly jerking movements..

and my whole work is one thing….do not resist anything and do not push.  Sometimes for the whole hour I only rocked a little…and made noises!!! 

One hour of movement, one hour all my pours are vibrating, I feel completely renewed…sometimes even my hair soaked from sweat…and the innermost core of my being is vibrating and with my eyes closed, I do not feel the body at all…I only feel vibration.  There is no body!..the body is not real…the body is pure vibration, pure energy. LIterally (!), I cannot feel the body, it has disappeared. Only vibration humming so strong!  Then just standing there for another half hour, waves of pulsing energy rising up through my being…sometimes it touches another energy and I what I feel is like what I feel when a lover touches me, but sometimes greater.

The body is not there, Jeannie!…it does not exist…not from 2am. to 3a.m.! (laughing!)….And during the day, I have moments if someone suddenly shouts my name or a cold or hot sensation touch me, again, the whole body becomes not solid, but vibration and I giggle unbelievable!…oh, it feels so good!

kind of 'star trek', you know!…beam me up, scottie!..I am ready!

The body…what a faithful compassion, lover, vehicle…playful joyful truth of being!

That is a perfect term!  Cosmic Dancing!  the practice is to make you subtle…so one day, when the divine touches you, you are receptive, you are capable of surrendering to the bliss…people resist bliss..the body has become resistant, you know.

I gave a 12-week workshop once on this sort of practice - calling it 'Spiritual Energetic Healing.'  It was remarkable what people could feel..how they moved!

Well, I have to wonder if that's what the Shakers were doing when they did their Holy Dancing?  Hmm…getting off on the Universe.  There's something new to think about.  Jeannie, I'm like you in that my body is the 2nd best tool I have in the box and I like keep it sharp.  What, no polish?   My feet still feel like a million dollars from the Gulf-pedi I just had.  I walked and squiggled and dug with my feet till every rough place had been sanded off.  That's when a good surf is useful, you get exfoliated evey where.

I  turned off the A.C. first thing,  ( ME! ) and opened the balcony door (11 th Floor, no worries ) and left it open the whole time, just so I could hear it breathe and feel it's warm breath.

Hello Ladies, As a guy I have no idea what you are talking about, but it sends a shiver up from toes through my spine like a wave of energy washing over and out of me, bringing the comfort of places where all was born. Now will someone pass me the remote, oh wait I have it in my hand.
