How is online community different from the real world sort?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for August 06, 2008:
This Gaia community is different than my "real world" community because I am communicating with people here who have a similar way of thinking about the "real world"
as I do. It is sort of like connecting with artists and writers through their work, with the added benefit of feedback. I am really enjoying the connection! ~Jeannie
